Important recognition adds food safety management to ICC-ES portfolio of certification services
Brea, CA – ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) is proud to announce that it has been awarded recognition by the Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) farm-to-fork food safety and quality standards. The recognition qualifies ICC-ES to offer certifications to the following programs: SQF Fundamentals, SQF Food Safety and SQF Quality. The ICC-ES Food Safety Management Certification Program combines the experience and knowledge of the widely accepted certification body with systematic application of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) to provide a solution for businesses suppling local and global food markets.

The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide. Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to the retail stores.
A nonprofit, limited liability company, ICC-ES is the United States’ leading evaluation service for innovative building materials, components and systems. ICC-ES Evaluation Reports (ESRs), Building Product Listings and PMG Listings provide evidence that products and systems meet requirements of codes and technical standards. The ICC-ES Environmental Programs issue VAR environmental reports that verify a product meets specific sustainability targets defined by today’s codes, standards, green rating systems and ICC-ES environmental criteria.
