ICC, ICC-ES Continue to lead the Industry in Building and Plumbing Product Evaluation and Certification at KBIS and IBS
ICC-ES Marks of Conformity preferred choice by manufacturers at both IBS and KBIS in Las Vegas
The International Code Council (ICC) and ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) had another successful year exhibiting at the International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), acquiring a record number of new report applications and Listings from manufacturers, confirming ICC-ES’ reputation for high quality reports and unparalleled service to customers.
As major sponsors of the event, a large delegation of ICC and ICC-ES staff including senior management assisted a number of manufacturers specifically seeking ICC-ES certification apply for new reports for their innovative building products and plumbing products.
ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. was also invited by the National Kitchen Bath Association (NKBA) to speak at the NKBA Center stage during KBIS on “Allowing Innovation to Thrive through Building Product Evaluation and Certification” and delivered a definitive message on why ICC-ES is the preferred provider of reports and listings for manufacturers that wish to prove compliance of their products with applicable codes and standards ensuring acceptance of their products for installation.
“This was an outstanding year for ICC-ES exhibiting at KBIS and IBS, with a number of manufacturers stopping by to apply for product evaluation/certification,” Said ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. “The entire ICC-ES team put in a tremendous effort to make this year an even more successful year, and we even saw other certification bodies stop by to compliment our booth displays as well as the heavy traffic throughout each day.”
ICC CEO Dominic Sims, CBO, Executive Staff, Executive Leaders and Board Members were also involved in a variety of meetings and discussions including the Design and Construction Week (DCW) CEO Roundtable, and helped generate many ideas of how the residential industry can work together to drive growth and affordability through innovation and safety.
