ICC-ES Appoints Wong as Technical Staff Lead for Building Products Listing Program
Wong to assure timely evaluation of building products and high quality standard

ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) the experts in building product evaluation and certification has named Staff Engineer, Danny Wong P.E., as Technical Staff Lead of the ICC-ES Building Products Listing Program. 

“We are very excited about the fast growing Building Product Listing Program and Danny is the right person to be the technical lead.” said Shahin Moinian, P.E. ICC-ES President.  “Danny’s nimble and flexible method of handling clients and projects coupled with his high quality technical skills will enable him to give the clients the service they deserve.”

Wong in this role will lead all technical activities and assure timely evaluation of products with the high quality standard that ICC-ES clients are accustomed to.

Wong has more than 18 years of experience working on photovoltaic (PV) racking systems, steel fabrication and erection, steel joists, metal decking, engineered wood products, wood construction connectors, and wood, steel and aluminum fasteners. He has a strong knowledge of the International Codes, and seismic and wind design load provisions in ASCE/SEI-7. He is a licensed civil engineer and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in building science from the University of Southern California.
