What is CodeMark?
The CodeMark Certification Scheme is a voluntary third-party building product certification scheme, administered by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB). It supports the use of new or innovative building products in specified circumstances in Australia, by providing a nationally accepted process for demonstrating compliance with the Building Code of Australia (Volumes One and Two of the National Construction Code (NCC)).
A Certificate of Conformity or an ICC-ES Evaluation Service Report (ESR) are options available for meeting the evidence of suitability requirements of the NCC.
Accredited by JASANZ under the CodeMark Scheme
ICC-ES is accredited by JASANZ as a certification body for CodeMark Australia, enabling ICC-ES to certify building products in Australia under the CodeMark Scheme. ICC-ES is also an approved WaterMark Conformity Assessment Body (WMCAB), accredited by JASANZ, to certify plumbing and drainage products, including Lead Free products, under the WaterMark Scheme. ES Mark Scheme and Global Recognition

An ICC-ES mark of conformity provides evidence that a product has undergone a rigorous technical evaluation and is compliant with the latest applicable codes and standards. An ICC-ES ESR represents an independent evaluation of how a building product meets performance and prescriptive provisions in the New Zealand Building Code and the National Construction Code Volumes One and Two.
