ICC-ES Listing Program continues to add relevant, value-added services to the building industry
BREA, CALIF. — Manufacturers of post-installed mechanical and adhesive anchors can apply for ICC-ES AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transporation Officials) Anchor Listings and utilize these reports in highway and bridge construction applications to grow their business. The AASHTO Anchor Listing program facilitates the use of post-installed mechanical and adhesive anchors in transportation and bridge projects requiring compliance with the latest AASHTO specification.
Manufacturers can use an ICC-ES Product Listing as evidence to receive appropriate approvals for applications in accordance with the 2017 AASHTO LRFD Bridge Specification, 8th Edition. ICC-ES provides an ISO/IEC 17065 product certification system that evaluates reports and tests of an anchor product prepared by accredited testing laboratories, to verify compliance with the following standards and ICC-ES Criteria:
- ACI 355.2-07 and ACI 355.2-19 Qualification of Post-Installed Mechanical Anchors in Concrete for post-installed mechanical anchors
- ACI 355.4-11 Qualification of Post-Installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete for post-installed adhesive anchors
- ICC-ES AC193, Acceptance Criteria for Mechanical Anchors in Concrete Elements
- ICC-ES AC308, Acceptance Criteria for Post-Installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete Elements
An ICC-ES AASHTO Anchor Listing program also includes biannual factory inspections, as well as an assessment and surveillance of the listee’s quality system to ensure ongoing compliance with the anchor products original specifications.
