Company earns recognition for Horizontal Reinforced Concrete Diaphragms
BREA, CALIF. — Structural Technologies recently completed a technical revision to their ESR-3606 report for V-Wrap Fiber-Enforced Polymer Composite System to comply with latest edition of AC125, dated October 2019. AC125 was revised and approved during the ICC-Evaluation Service Evaluation Committee meeting in October 2019 to include recognition for strengthening of Horizontal Reinforced Concrete Diaphragms. ESR-3606 now complies with the latest edition of AC125 and makes Structural Technologies the first report holder under AC125 to include recognition for Horizontal Reinforced Concrete Diaphragms
“The revisions to our ESR for the V-Wrap FRP strengthening system serve to confirm our commitment to product quality and innovation here at Structural Technologies” said Vice President Tarek Alkhrdaji, Ph.D., PE. “Moreover, we are very pleased to be the first to have earned the recognition for Horizontal Reinforced Concrete Diaphragms. This was possible by the great efforts of the ICC-ES staff to advance AC125 to include the very much needed criteria for seismic strengthening of concrete diaphragms.”
