BREA, CALIF. — After a successful pilot program that began with the City of Los Angeles Department of Building Safety (LADBS) in April 2017, ICC-ES report supplements have been in high demand, with many manufacturers seeking ICC-ES for new evaluations to the requirements of the Los Angeles Building Code (LABC) and Los Angeles Residential Codes (LARC).ICC-ES City of LA Report Supplements are an alternative to LADBS Research Reports, and provide proof of compliance to the LABC and LARC codes, improving product approval and acceptance.
“LADBS has been accepting ICC-ES Reports in all other categories for many years, and we are pleased to a see a continued demand for ICC-ES Report Supplements to the requirements of the LABC and LARC codes,” said ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. “This high demand has helped increase the growth of our current LA Report Directory to over 95 published LA Report Supplements.”
