Scope extension adds food safety management certification to company’s extensive suite of services

Brea, CA – ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) is proud to announce that it has been awarded accreditation by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as a certification body that is able to conduct Safe Quality Food (SQF) audits and issue SQF certificates.

Under this new distinction, ICC-ES now offers certifications to SQF Food Safety and SQF Quality. The accredited scope covers SQF Code Edition 9.0 and includes a variety of categories including:

  • Food Manufacturing
  • Manufacture of Food Packaging
  • Animal Product Manufacturing
  • Storage and Distribution
  • Animal Feed Manufacturing
  • Dietary Supplement Manufacturing
  • Pet Food Manufacturing

The Safe Quality Food Program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide. Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to the retail stores.
