Manufacturers Seek ICC-ES for their One-stop Testing, Listing and Product Evaluation
The International Code Council (ICC) and ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) had another successful year exhibiting at the International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), acquiring a number of new report applications and listings from both plumbing and building manufacturers, confirming ICC-ES’ reputation for high quality reports and unparalleled service to customers.
As major sponsors of the event, a large delegation of ICC/ICC-ES staff including ICC CEO Dominic Sims, CBO, Executive Staff and Board Members participated in a number of Design and Construction Week (DCW) activities. In addition, the team assisted manufacturers specifically seeking ICC-ES for their one-stop testing, listing and product evaluation of building and plumbing products.
ICC-ES was also the sponsor of the 2017 Metrostudy Housing Industry Outlook Breakfast Seminar, held in conjunction with IBS, where ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. welcomed over 750 Housing and Building Industry Professionals. The breakfast seminar focused on analyzing economic trends impacting the housing industry, forecasted growth in housing activity, pricing trends shaping demand in 2017 and winning the hearts and wallets of millennials.
“This was another great start to the new year for ICC-ES, receiving a number of new reports and listing applications at both KBIS and IBS,” said ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. “The entire team put in a lot of preparation and effort to make this year successful, and as both shows continue to grow, so does ICC-ES.”
IBS and KBIS will be held Jan. 9-11, 2018, in Orlando, Florida. For more information visit www.buildersshow.com or www.kbis.com.
