Certify Your Products for Distribution in Australia and New Zealand
The ICC-ES Evaluation Service Report (ESR) program provides proof of code compliance to nearly any code or standard worldwide. An ICC-ES ESR on a specific building product represents an independent evaluation of how the product meets performance and prescriptive provisions in the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) and the National Construction Code (NCC) Volumes One and Two. An ESR can be extended in scope to include evaluation for markets in North America and other parts of the world.
The ES Mark Scheme has been endorsed by JASANZ and ICC-ES is the only conformity assessment body accredited by ANAB and A2LA under the Scheme, which includes scope to certify products that meet the requirements for acceptance by local building consent authorities in Australia and New Zealand.
What’s included in an Evaluation Service Report?
- A description of the building product and its intended uses
- The code provision(s) that were used to evaluate the product
- Instructions that identify requirements for proper installation
- List of data that were used including test report and analysis
ICC-ES Can Test and Certify:
- Fasteners, Doors/Windows, Roofing Materials
- Concrete Anchors, Air, Water & Vapor Barriers, Wall Systems
- Manufactured Wood, Cladding, Flooring/Deck Systems
- Plastic Lumber, Wall Coverings, Plumbing Products
- Active and Passive Fire Protection Products
- And many more!
